Well priced and very flavoursome cocktails, we had steak Burria taco and nachos. The nachos should be tried, the liquid queso was delicious and lots of flavour. Will come back

They've made a good effort with this place and it (sort of) works. The food is tasty though a bit samey and menu quite limited. Really nice cocktails and decor, and very impressed by our waitress who seemed massively overworked but still provided friendly and efficient service. They were definitely under -staffed though that's not their fault.

What a great experience, really good quality, fresh, tasty food. I couldn’t fault anything, recommendations from the waitress were perfect. I would never have normally ordered Nacho’s,l but she recommended, they were so good and different to the normal ‘kiwi’ version. Everything (we got a lot of different food) was easily able to be shared by 4 or could have ordered our own if wanted to.Overall was $60 each, for lots of meals (with food left over) and 2 or 3 drinks each. It was easily good value for money.Atmosphere is good also, we had a booked table waiting but otherwise was packed.I’d recommend booking as was consistently popular throughout the time we were there.

De Nada is one of the newer places in Mt Eden village so we decided to go there for dinner. We did book beforehand which was a good idea since it got packed. The menu had a range of interesting Mexican items (food and drinks) and they also had specials of the day. We started with the corn chips and they were really good. Proper corn chips with nice salsa and dips. It gave us time to pick drinks and I went with the coconut meal mojito. It did have a nice coconut flavour and was quite refreshing.We grabbed a series of different items to share. I quite liked the prawn tacos and the carne de vaca. They had a really nice flavour and the taco was quite refreshing. The pork rib birra taco was also nice and the tortilla was cooked over the hot plate so it had a nice crunch to it. The chorizo nacho and chimichangas were ok. I was looking forward to the desserts, particularly the tres leches cake. The cake and the churros were quite nice. I was a bit disappointed with the flan since the texture was quite grainy, almost like it was overcooked.I can see why it does get busy because the food is quite nice and the drink options were quite interesting. They do have indoor and outdoor tables and both were quite busy for most of the night. it was a really nice place for tasty Mexcian food, although I can't comment on the authenticity"."

I’m a little conflicted on this restaurant.We had been told great things about two things on the order (tuna sashimi nachos & prawn cocktail tacos), when we arrived on Saturday for dinner we were told by the staff that bother were sold out.It was really cold inside the restaurant, two ladies beside us were shivering, the tables and layout of the restaurant didn’t quite make sense either.Overall the food was nice (the chorizo nachos were good) however won’t be going back, I would like to be raving about this place as I think it could be great on a good night.James Ashwin

The food is really nice but definitely not authentic, they have an interesting take on a few stereotypical Mexican dishes. A bit pricey for some dishes, but others (tacos especially) are quite affordable. I had a beautiful piña colada type frozen marguerita which I hope they do again. My neighbor comes here 4 times a week sometimes so it’s definitely worth checking out. Staff is super friendly :)

We went last night and left feeling really disappointed. The cocktails come in these tiny tumbler glasses so small for $20 ordered a spicy marg and wasn’t even slightly hot. On top of that the staff weren’t attentive at all we had to go and order drinks at the bar even though there was 3 wait staff on and there was only 2 tables seated.The food was terrible, we had the veggie nachos that came out with like like no toppings and covered in a horrible cheese sauce, we also had the pork tacos the meat was dry and flavourless and had no sauce to it. Honestly just overall a terrible experience1/10 and definitely won’t be back.

Very bland and flavorless. Had the pork and steak tacos. Both were very bland and need more flavor. They come with a sauce which is spicy, but unless you add the sauce there is nothing to them. Was hoping this would be my new local, but won't be returning unless the menu is improved.

Unfortunate to not be able to give anything positive in this review, but I must be honest, we were disappointed in all areas. Food was bland and dry, the nachos tasted fowl to the point we politely sent it back to the kitchen. The drinks were sub par especially for the price. Staff seemed uninformed and inattentive. Perhaps all inexperienced.
