Zambrero Mt Wellington
Just had a terrible experience and Zambrero in Mount Wellington, with a really bad tempered server. Apparently, Zambrero have changed their policy and do not give a free burrito with a purchase of 9! I’m not going there again.This is not a stand alone incident, as this particular fella has got attitude!

Great tasting food, and the staff service was excellent. Plenty of options and fillings to choose from, my friends an I really enjoyed our time here, and would recommend Zambrero for amazing Mexican food in Auckland.

Have gotten takeaway from here a few times recently. Though this is probably not traditional Mexican food, they put their own twist on it, which is quite nice. The menu is varied with lots of options and the prices are reasonable. Staff have been friendly every visit. Will definitely return.

The food was alright, standard Mexican food with a nice blend of sauces, but the meat was very little in my taco. And I'm definitely not a fan of their service. It was my first time trying out Zambarero's and must say it was not a good one. Might be worth a shot to try another branch. There was alot of confusion during the orders which was created on purpose. Better communication might bid this branches staff members well.

Edit: the reply by the owners is an outright lie and I’m one of many to complain about these portions that are well below what they say they are.They put basically nothing in these burritos. Second time this has happened at this store. It’s a scam. Cost cutting. Nothing to do with Uber.Outrageously TINY PORTIONS. Paid $30 for basically a tortilla with lettuce and rice, and a tiny bit of sauce. Tiny little paste of beans and chicken (and this was after paying for extra). Teaspoon of guacamole. A total joke.Hardly anything in the burrito even when paying for extra! Outrageous and easily the worst burrito I’ve ever had. To top it off the food that I did very kindly receive was completely bland.Ridiculous rip off. Will not be giving these SCAM artists my money again and if you are reading this I urge you not to either.Seriously shockingly BAD.
