Cromwell Heritage Precinct (CHP) Bike Rentals

We recently had an excellent day riding the Lake Dunstan Trail thanks to Rod and the team at Cromwell Heritage Precinct (CHP) Bike Rentals. The experience was fantastic from start to finish.Firstly, the bikes themselves were top-notch - high quality and well-maintained, which made the ride very enjoyable. Rod and the team also provided great service, making sure we were equipped with everything we needed, from helmets to bike bags.One of the standout aspects of the experience was the seamless pickup at the Clyde end of the trail. We were able to simply drop off our bikes and catch Rod's shuttle back to Cromwell without any hassle, which made the end of the ride stress-free and enjoyable.Overall, I would highly recommend CHP Bike Rentals for anyone looking to ride the Lake Dunstan Trail. what a great ride a must do for all kiwis, great bikes and great service, arrived at 8.45 in cromwell heritage precinct to find our bikes setup and ready to go , quick safety briefing and then we set off to Clyde, we easily made it by 1.30pm for a 2pm pickup and back to Cromwell by shuutle van. will highly recommend to friends.

Excellent value, Rod exceptionally helpful throughout. Had one day of unfortunate weather and Rod was happy for us to reschedule with no issues. Hired two e-bikes for Dunstan Track which looked brand new and made for a comfortable ride across the 42km track. Rod had great knowledge of the track, informed us of local landmarks and a place to grab coffee at where he picked us up from at the end. Overall would strongly recommend to anyone wanting bike hire around the area! 10/10

This is my second time with Rod and the Cromwell Heritage Precinct Bike rentals. Absolutely loved the trail from Cromwell to Clyde, it was as good as the first time if not better. Rod is great to deal with, very informative and responsive to every ones needs and ability. This is definitely a bucket list to do. Thanks Rod next time I'll be bringing the North Island friends.

How lucky were we to cycle the most beautiful 42kms of South Island scenery. Thanks to Rod for our bike hire at Cromwell Heritage Precinct, great service and easy to pick up and start straigt on the track with a shuttle pick up in Clyde. Highly recommend an e-bike!!!

Super friendly service. Bikes are easy to ride and well maintained. Reliable bikes that have an exceptional battery range. Did the Dunstan Trail using only two bars. Had heaps of charge left.

Highly recommend using Cromwell Heritage Precinct Bike Rentals to do the Lake Dunstan trail. The bikes are high spec and made the ride very enjoyable, even the rain did not dampen our enjoyment! Rod is very professional and accommodating. Enjoy the ride everyone.

Absolutely fantastic!Rod was great to liaise with over the phone to organise 3x E-bikes for the Lake Dunstan Trail. Great communication, in-depth details, and we were provided with everything we needed to know prior to arriving in Cromwell to collect the bikes. Once arrived, super friendly, great overall service, as well as a follow up message after the ride. Bikes were awesome. Highly recommend this place over any other. Thanks heaps, Rod!

My boyfriend and I decided last minute (the night before) to do the Dunstan Bike Trail. Rod was incredibly friendly and even replied late at night per mail to prepare the bikes. The bikes were in perfect condition and Rod explained the trail very well. He recommended nice places on the way to make sure we have a good time (the burgers were delicious and definitely worth a stop). He picked us up from Clyde on time and drove us back to Cromwell. Highly recommend his bike rental and the beautiful trail, definitely one of my NZ highlights!
