Soup bases are delicious but the rest of the ingredients are WILDLY overpriced. $7 for a brick of noodles is too much. Not to mention they double up the skewers in the food so they can charge you twice for one bit of food.

A very high quality hot pot place with the options to choose from a share pot with a group of people or one to yourself. The location is just around a corner, hard to miss, and easy to park on the street. I was extremely pleased with the customer service where they offer aprons and hair ties if you have long hair. Although the price in general is more dear but I reckon it’s definitely worth a try!

We thought this place was really good and tasty. Friendly staff . The restaurant was clean.

The place is cosy and spacious. Love the idea of having a small hotpot per person, feels more hygienic. The base is average, personally the spicy base was too spicy (ordered the least spicy level) and the pot is a little small.Also, not too sure why they can charge sauce fee when people don’t use sauce. In that case, you should include in the soup base price :(

Delicious food lots of selection I recommend the beef tallow hot pot.Only negative was a table of extremely loud, rude 20's vaping inside the restaurant. The staff were fantastic and went to shut them up as other families were also annoyed by their behavior.

Hotpot was delicious but service can be improved.We dined last weekend, first time trying them out so we asked the waitress if the “spicy and sour” broth was spicy (as the menu didn’t ask for a level of spice but it was asking for the “spicy broth”) and the waitress said no, I responded that is was great if not spicy cause I don’t eat spicy food at all (making sure she understood I didn’t eat spice and even a little but is too much for me)zWe ticked on the menu to try 1xplain broth and 1xspicy & sour broth.Broth came and I only dipped my chopsticks in it to lick the end to try it and I almost choked as it was the most spicy broth I ever tried !my partner who likes spice said he couldn’t cope with it too.The waitress must have not understood me then when I asked? I straight away called a new waitress and told her we couldn’t eat this broth and kindly asked for a plain one in exchange, saying we did ask for the spiciness level but anyway, we would pay for the broth even if sending it back to kitchen.Half way through our dinner, I had to ask the waitress if our dumpling were still coming as we were waiting for them for a little while now, she didn’t say but it seemed like she was going to check.We had finished our dinner later on and had to ask again a waitress about our dumpling, saying we would like to cancel them now as we are done with our dinner, she said sorry but it is taking long for the kitchen to cook but they are coming now.I said I didn’t want them anymore (usually i’m nott the type of person who does this and would eat them but i was a bit gutted we didn’t have them earlier and didn’t want them anymore) but the waitress basically said we cannot cancel it cause they are already in making.Usually you do offer the option to your customer to cancel when you know it took ages to make something but anyway, she didn’t cancel and we just got them to take home.I was quite disappointed, I would think if you want to keep a customer happy, first you might give them the head up when you know something can take long to cook (I truely think they forgot about the dumpling cause we waited over half an hour for them and the rest came quite fast. Some asian place I go to do tell me in advance that they would take 15/20min but I rarely wait 30mins for dumplings) but also you do offer the option to cancel it when you know it is not unreasonable (if I wanted to cancel within 10min I understand but it was at the very end of our meal).I think they can definitely improve on the service.I absolutly don’t mind if a staff come to us and tell us X dish takes longer to cook, do you still want to go ahead etc. this is always much appreciated.It wasn’t on a busy night, only 2 tables in the restaurant with us at that time, other tables were all done.We were charged for the broth we sent back to the kitchen too (full bowl, I understand you can’t reuse it and it goes to waste but when it wasn’t truely our fault for ordering it, thinking it wasn’t going to be spicy.... it would have been appreciated if the restaurant didn’t charge us. It only $5, can make a customer happy.)Also FYI, bill was not in english, couldn’t really tell what we were charged, could only guess with the price per article but if you don’t have the menu next to you again, you don’t really know.Don’t think I will be back, which is a shame as the broth (plain one) was nice and the veggies and meat were great with it.

A fantastic place for hotpot! This really reminds me of Haidilao with the condiments and the service, which is great. Staff were very helpful and attentive.Great variety of soups to cook in: bone broth, sour spicy, tomato, and spicy. Lots of great quality meat, vegetables and seafood.Will definitely be back again.

Love this place to bits! Really fresh ingredients and the broth is super tasty. Was really impressed with the customer service today too. The lady serving us was very friendly and hardworking - wish I got her name! Price is very reasonable. Thank you Maya Hotpot ☺️
