Twice I have been in there in the past two weeks and the Samoan lady who mans the lotto stand has been oblivious to customers looking at her phone texting etc. I thought they would have a no phone policy at work.

Love shoping in Countdown, but Countdown, fast changing prices,up,Countdown getting now expensive for shoping,same items,from Countdown you can find in some othars cheap more,.some articles is not get up for 1-2 dollars they get up strait,4-5 dollars over night,?

Went in there tonight for my first time in almost 4 years. Friendly staff good service, they seem a lot cheaper then in prices than Newtown countdown. Only problem with this store I ask one of staff members were there GF section is and they said they don’t have one.

Always well staffed with friendly faces. Online shopping has good subs for unavailable products (a rare issue), clearance sections are better than any other supermarket I've found in Wellington Region!Store always looks clean and is comfortable.

Got a car ticket $65 from Wilson for a minor one metre forward infringement I was in countdown for 20min. Customers to be aware they are targeting for very little fault.

I usually go later in the evening because I'm easily overstimulated in busy supermarket environments. Not sure if it's because I look feral with no makeup and sweat pants on but the Indian looking allied security lady watches me like a hawk! Im followed around the store as she paces up and down the end of aisles. Also the blonde lady often on the self checkouts, shes usually quite friendly but can be patronising. She also watches me like a hawk when I'm putting through produce. It's as if her pay is docked when people are dishonest about their produce!!! (Which I am not). Ridiculous. And shooing me out of the store 10 minutes before closing - she came to the end of the aisle and physically signalled for me to leave. If I were to come in after work in corporate attire I would be treated differently which makes me sick.
