Good food and good service from the staff, sawaadeekhapbut during my visit some of the food is not available, like matcha latte, store are not crowded, near the sea view, cold weather, good sounds inside, menu are not visible to table, but outside there is.. the price is good also not too expensive, thanks for the good food and service..

We stopped at La Thai for a bite to eat for my boyfriends birthday and the food was great! The portions were flavorful and large and the staff was very friendly. We even got a happy birthday serenade with dessert. We'll definitely be stopping back in the next time we are in Akaroa. Thank you! ☺️

Very central restaurant with large menu catering for all appetites and quite pricey. Our party of 4 had pad Thai (delicious) which came out 20mins after the other 2 plates were served. The Gurnard was okay but the seafood chowder was disgusting and tasteless, thin milky liquid with a few miniscule veg and 1 mussel, small piece squid. A can of soup would of tasted better.

YUM..I had Beef Stir Fried Sweet and Sour with Rice No (26). Very Nice and tasty. and my wife had Chicken Thai Fried Rice . We both loved it

We had such a beautiful evening. The lovely lady who owns the restaurant is so sweet and friendly. We had the squid - highly recommend! Spring rolls, cashew stir fry and massaman curry and a lovely bottle of sav. Highly recommend… we will definitely be back next time we come to Akaroa… thank you!

We dined as a family of 6. The menu was vast and food was delicious and served nice and hot. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.Ps loved the kapiti ice cream options too

Dropped in for lunch and had an excellent meal. We ordered Tom Kha Soup (excellent seafood) and Pad Thai (generous helping). Very reasonable prices and the lunchtime special included an Ice cream or Coffee. They were able to provide a high chair for our toddler. Lovely attentive service. We will come again!

Delish dinner of sweet and sour pork. Lots of fresh veges and generous portions.Atmosphere a wee bit bland but our gorgeous friendly waitress made up for that . Will visit again .
