Great area for a swim or general exploration. The valley is wide here and has plenty of places for a picnic or a wander. The three trails that start here offer plenty even for the most ambitious. There's a toilet, but was closed for maintenance at the time of writing.

Hidden down a shingle road towards the river great spot to.show the kids different things and skim stones. Run a cross the bridge and go.for.a wander deep.into.the paths that are well maintained.
