Lovely and safe place for the children to ride their bikes or to walk your dog. There is a parking area away from the road which makes it really safe. The area itself is beautiful and if you are lucky,you will hear the frogs in the first pond. Definitely worth a try. Just make sure your dog doesn't drink from the ponts as the water is not safe and could make him or her sick.

I get running up to here. I guess this is a place to walk your dog, but I like it anyway even without it. There are two carparks available. The space is very open: there is a good view of both the hills down Christchurch and the mountains west. On the downside, there is no shade at all as there are no trees of shelter. Recommend

I take the dog walking here. It changes a lot but the path is a good length, a great stretch
