Dittmer Collision Repair

We've used this business before which was a good experience but unfortunately have used them again just recently and it hasn't gone so well. I had a new car which was hit by another person and went into dittmers and its been over a month in with them. It's been so long because Dittmers ordered the wrong parts and had issues with once it was painted because someone in the building scratched it. However the most disappointing part was it was due to be ready on Monday 8th May after the first set of delays, upon hearing nothing I had to follow them up on the Wednesday. I was told it was definitley going to be ready Thursday but they just wanted to keep it until Fridaymorning for the last checks, so i had arranged for the borrowed car to be returned. It then turned out it had only just gone into the mechanics to get checked on the Friday, and they had issues which has delayed it further. They then said they had a courtesy car, but charged me $30 for insurance for the 4 days, which just ruined the whole thing, as I was left without much choice, and upon complaining they said they wouldn't refund it. Just not a nice customer service and the experience hasn't been positive especially with the front desk person, who has been quite rude and at times combative. I'd suggest finding another repairer who will provide a better experience than what we had.

My car was stolen and smashed in March 2023.It was sent to dittmer after a week, they couldn't find the car initially, basically lost my car in their own warehouse for 3 weeks, it needed a lots of follow up with them. Now its been 3 months the car is with them and when called to follow up they say they sent the request for parts , part request date varies depending on who you talk to. I bought car with all my saving and now can not afford to buy another, spending a lot of money to get practice my restricted driver license (150 an hour) , can not get a loan car because i don't have full liscense yet,I'll be moved to new city in next 2 weeks and dittmers are determined to not repair the car sooner or do anything to stop me going thr this financial hardship.Recommend dittmers to people who earn really good money and wouldn't care about delayed responses from this company

They are an awesome team super friendly and professional, however be aware that almost all the insurance companies send there claims here so the wait times can be extreme got everything approved in the start of June but they can't fit the work in until the end August
