Darlene was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. We visited 5 wineries including the st Claire’s one where there was an excellent lunch along with the wines. Darlene told us about the process of wine making and was keen to ensure we all had a good time . We felt relaxed in her presence and free to ask any questions which she answered fully. The wineries were varied in products and all our group voted the Lawsons dry hills the best wines. Would use this company again .

I have done two tours now with Cam and Hop n Grape tours and both of them have been absolutely fantastic. Cam is very friendly, knowledgeable and fun with the tours being nice and relaxed. We visited 5 or 6 wineries on each tour and the places Cam chose for the lunch stops were amazing. If you're in Marlborough I would definitely recommend a tour with Hop n Grape, you won't regret it.

I have been on multiple wine tours around the Marlborough region but this one was hands down the best experience. We booked a private group tour and had the wonderful Darlene as our guide. Everyone in our group had an amazing time and we all especially loved getting to go behind the scenes at one of the wineries. We had a great selection of Wineries chosen for our tour, most of which none of us had been to before which was great for those of us who had been on multiple tours previously. Darlene was super informative and answered all our questions and encouraged us to give our thoughts on each wine and share our preferences. No answer or question was seen as too silly, she felt more like apart of the group rather than a tour guide laughing along with us and sharing stories. One thing that really stood out to me was coming across a group at one of the wineries who had previously had Darlene as a tour guide, they remembered her face and name and let her know what a wonderful time they had on her tour and wished they had her this time. This really goes to show the amazing service she obviously provides to every tour she takes; you can really tell she loves her job and is passionate about the wine industry. We will 100% be back again and recommending this tour to all our friends.

The best day with Darlene! This was such an amazing experience of multiple wineries in the Marlborough region. Incredibly informative and I met such nice people along the way. Definitely do this!

Such a fun afternoon, highly recommend. Our Tour Guide Cameron, was brilliant, very informative and knowledgeable. Such a lovely way to spend an afternoon and to get a small glimpse of what Blenheim has on offer, such friendly, happy, helpful people. Me and my Sister definitely will be back!

My 12-year-old son and I went on the tour with Hop n Grape, our tour guide was Darleen. We were very impressed with the hospitality and professional services provided by Darleen. She was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Overall, we had a fantastic time with our group. She even stopped at a local chocolate confectionery for my son because he couldn't taste any wines. A great experience to be memorised. Thank you!

Had a magical day and highly recommended scheduling a nap afterwards!!Darlene was so informative and shared great insights. I loved the way she asked us lots of questions and brought out our reactions to the wines in a really genuinely curious way which made me think about each glass carefully. It made the experience really special.I did the full day which was just stunning and enjoyed seeing behind the scenes and about the process. Each visit was different and the lunch at Saint Claire was delicious: generous and good quality.Also got to try the insanely good chocolate maker.Fun with a nice group you can get to know.

A+ Day with Cam, the owner of Hop n Grape Tours. On our full day tour we were able to see a range of wineries from a behind the scenes tour of the wine making process and a private tasting at a place that no longer has an open Cellar Door, to lunch and a tasting at one of the most awarded wineries, and stops at a couple smaller ones. Cam was so friendly and knowledgeable and made the day so much fun! Hope to come back (from the States) for another day with Hop n Grape Tours!
