We went to many shops in Wellington to have zip fixed on a jumper and nobody would do it - one shop said yes but it would take 3 weeks.We then popped into Looksmart on the off chance - we received fantastic service and the owner even dropped the jumper off as we were stuck at work.I highly recommend this fantastic shop

I often utilize the services of Looksmart Alterations at the bottom of the majestic building. I am always delighted with the service. The gentleman I deal with is informative, helpful, respectful and often exceeds expectations with time and quality of work. I highly recommend the use of their services.

I had three pairs of pants repaired at this site. I warned them that I would be using a $10 voucher as I subscribed to there mailer. When I picked it up and used the voucher they were extremely rude had never heard of the voucher, said things about head office. Okay I get the issue I got $10 dollar off you as agreed when i signed up. What I don't get is how you wree rude when one of my pants wasn't fixed and the other ripped down the seem the next day. At least if your going to be rude and arrogant be good a t your job. Never again will I go to this place and I need this work undertaken once every month

This is the first time I have gotten clothes altered and it was a great experience. I was helped by a woman named Prida who was friendly, professional and made me feel very comfortable with the fitting process - thank you Prida!

I've been here twice and had a great experience both times.1) I had trousers altered, with the waist taken in. These are now a great fit and my favourite pair of pants.2) I bought some washable fabric face masks in different sizes.To the staff: thanks for your great work. PS if you're thinking of expanding your range of masks, a mask with a centre seam or a thin wire in it would be great too, to reduce fogging when wearing a mask with glasses.

Looksmart Alterations
Brought in some jeans for alterations.Arranged a specific time to collect them, came in at the scheduled time and the shop was closed! Went and check an hour later and there was still no one there- still closed, no sign on the door and the opening hours clearly state 10-3 on Saturday. Very disappointed because I came in especially to collect them.
