Craig is a caring, compassionate man, who only has the best interests of our feathered friends at heart. Our world would be a better place with more people in it like him.

Amazing place, very skilled, caring and dedicated staff. Mix of employees and volunteers. Were able to take in a duck with a broken beak and hopefully be able to fix it up and release it.

Clive is awesome. His knowledge, kindness and compassion really shone through. If you have an injured bird, there really is no better guy to contact. I'm in awe of him.

They’re doing incredibly important work that no one else in the Wellington region is doing—rescue and care for any injured bird, not just natives. Ducks, pigeons, blackbirds, everything. But they of course work alongside the zoo and others to ensure proper care for our native taonga! They’re primarily funded by donations and staffed with volunteer mahi so support them if you can! And if you find an injured bird give them a ring.

The team of vet nurses ,owner and volunteers do an incredible deduction job to help save the lives of any species of sick or injured birds. If I need to buy a gift for thst person who has everything then its a donation to WBRT on their behalf.

Just discovered this amazing charity existed when we found a baby blackbird that required professional care. Wish we lived closer as I would love to volunteer and help in person. Have set up a monthly donation. So impressed by dedication of the team here

Well maintained and excellent birdlife but could do with trimming of bush obscuring views especially at hides
