I had an amazing dinner at Mr. Morris with my bestie to celebrate my birthday last night. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered kitchen experience tasting menu. From the snacks to the dessert, every dish was tasty and well presented. Can’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic! We had the tasting menu and it was outstanding. The pork collar was exceptional. Also the service was great, very attentive and friendly.It is definitely a special occasion place price wise but the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.

We must have come here on a bad night with it being between Christmas and New Years. To begin a few of their starters were already sold out by the time we got there and the wine list felt lacking. We ended up ordering a few things to share even though the wait staff were pushing their menu as a la carte and single serve.The beef cheek was tough and the octopus was rubbery. The cos salad tasted like window cleaner as the salted lemon dressing was not balanced well. The worst part was the main snapper dish was served without the mussel component. When we asked whether this was correct, the wait staff said no and walked off without offering to rectify this for us. Truly puzzling.Not all of it was doom and gloom, the best part of the meal was the fondant dessert - absolutely heavenly and worth the wait! The potato bread was beautiful too. But I'd save my coins and go somewhere else, or just hope you're visiting them on a good night.

What a place. What a charm, what an experience.Service was outstanding. The food was delicious. You can tell that everyone is very passionate about what they are serving here. From the water topping to checking on how we were doing all night long without feeling too much pressure from the wait staff. They put us in a little cosy place around the corner of the venue. They even left a card with some birthday wishes from the team. The price you will pay is fair. And the wine list is banging.Thanks again for this memorable night.

This is such a truly fabulous restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious.We enjoyed the cheddar puff and chicken skins for starters followed by the Duck as a main. Beautifully cooked and presented.We each had a sweet salted caramel macarons...to finish. I also wish comment about the impeccable service. The staff treated us with such a high standard of service which is rarely seen these days - truly special. Also the little touches that made my sister's birthday memorable. Thank you. A remarkable meal and would highly recommend Mr Morris.

Amazing food and service. You have to try the beef tongue. Melts in the mouth. The combination with the korean rice cake and the sourness of the sauce is perfect. 10/10.

Mr. Morris is a must try for any foodie in Auckland. It's one of the few places to go to get extremely well prepared food and not feel rushed out of your seat. They pay a lot of attention to your experience, From the music, to the open kitchen, to the well timed and attentive servers. Everything is there to invite you to relax, enjoy, and treat yourself.

Food Sensation. Every morsel of food made my mouth explode. It’s worth the money. Simple yet elegant decor. Team are friendly and waiters are attentive. Only thing I could slightly fault was the wait time for a drink, they only had one person doing bar.Overall experience was a delight.

We flew to Aukland for a night from Australia to have a birthday dinner and decided to dine at Mr Morris on recommendation from Trip Advisor forums. The experience was faultless. Sitting at the chefs table watching the food artistry in motion then indulging in the delightful flavours, we would highly recommend Mr Morris for dining pleasures.
