Civic Car Park

Parking was good but could not prepay. This is still on their web page but told, we dont do that anymore.

It's a carpark! I do like it's access to Aotea centre and good disabled parking

Good location with easy access off Grey's Ave. However the carpark spaces are too small for a medium SUV or larger, easily rectified by widening the spaces! The AT parking app was a bit slow underground so this needs improvement as well.

Worst system. If you park there on a busy night and are leaving after an event finishes, the queues to pay for your ticket are long and slow (and there's no longer a way to prepay), then you just get stuck in the queue of cars (we didn't move for 20 minutes). When exiting there are 3 lanes, which immediately reduce to 2 and people were getting stuck on the jutterbars on the steep incline to get out of the carpark, then we were forced to one lane when exited the carpark. Absolute shambles.

DISGUSTING. ZERO STARS BUT IT WONT LET MEwe came into the building to park so we could attend the fiesta on the 7/2/23. There were lots of car parks but when we went back to our park we went down the stairs near the front of the aotea centre and it stank of Urine(I would say day’s worth). I could hardly breathe for the 2 flights of stairs I had the walk back to my car. REVAULTING. This is not a good impression for tourist or people who use that after a show in the beautiful venues we have right there. I assume part of the money we pay for our park goes towards cleaning, maybe more of that would be good.

Really easy to park on a Tuesday, mid afternoon. Left around 9.15pm. Well lit, good access points.

Parking spots are pretty small. You see an unoccupied spot, head for it only to find a large vehicle parked next to it has encroached on it, that's why no one else has parked there.

Very good place to park in town. I park there all the time either to go to my favourite Korean restaurant or Daiso Japanese store. It's very close to Aotea centre. Lots of fashion shops, restaurants, cafe and dessert place available. A good place to park when I took my family to hang out in town for a day. The full day parking is very cheap as well. Twelve dollars for a full day over the weekend. Highly recommended to Park.

It was so easy to park without the use of tickets.Drive straight in. Enter rego number when you pay to exit. Done you're out. No tickets, no hassles.
