This is not our usual laundromat but it was fairly unoccupied compared to our local one. And the dryers were easily accessible. The dryers were not as much value for money as The Wash Room in Hakanoa Street, but the washing was dried very promptly. I was happy to have gone there and recommend it.

Walked in and saw the Japanese guy unloading a very old worn looking machine and asked if there was self service too. He barked “down the road” as angrily & rudely as could be. (I actually had already looked down the road but had no luck finding the one that’s almost on top of the bridge and must be approached from the alley behind.) I mentioned that I had trouble finding the other one & all he could do was angrily repeat “down the road”. Luckily a nice man from the council gave me good directions. So be warned unless you need dry cleaning or drop off, don’t go to this rude, angry Japanese guy.
