Carl has done 2 inspections of hybrids for me. He was super-efficient, professional and reasonably priced, and provided incredibly detailed reports, including a video of the hybrid battery tests. He also went out of his way for me in his own time when I came back to him with further questions. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Carl conducted an incredibly thorough pre-purchase inspection. The report sent through included summaries of key information, infographics, a plethora of photographs and videos showing readouts from his diagnostic tools.His services represent great value for money for the service he delivers. You can trust that you'll know the true condition of the car by the time he's done.If I buy a car again in the future, he'll be the first person I contact for an inspection.

Carl did a pre-purchase inspection for me, he gets top marks all round.Excellent communication from start to finish. All reports, photos ect to a high standard. In the report and photos you could even see the cracks in the rubber tires. Carl over delivered by miles on his Hybrid battery test. Most importantly the test was thoroughly carried out and I'm happy with the results knowing Carl is such an expert in the field. We had two tests done the week before we found Carl and they were so basic and now seem unreliable in comparison to what is offered here.

I wish I could give Carl 10 stars. Was absolutely blown away with his attention to detail. He was referred to me “as the best in the industry, the best of the best” and they were right. Even when he was inspecting my now current car, the car yard owner was saying that he’s never seen anyone so detailed - he even said he would use him from now on. I refer everyone I can to get in touch with Carl. For all my future car purchases I will definitely be in touch again. Amazing.

Carl is the man! Rang up Carl on a Sunday to see if Carl could do a pre-purchase inspection ASAP as we desperately wanted to close the deal on a car before anyone else bought it. Despite some prior miscommunications of our own fault, Carl maintained the highest level of professionalism and went out of his way to re-arrange his busy schedule to accomodate us. Initially he said he was fully booked until Thursday, but on Monday (less than 24 hrs since I called) he found a way to do the inspection and we closed the deal with the seller on the same day. His report was extremely detailed and he provided hundreds of photos of the car's condition. I cannot speak highly enough about this man's professionalism, work ethic, and striving to produce the highest quality of service to his clients. And he's simply a good guy and let us know he's always open for any questions we might have. My mum was so impressed with him that we wanted to pay him an extra tip for his outstanding work (but was unsure if this was allowed under a business account). If you're looking for a pre-purchase inspection, this is the only company I can recommend. After looking around for other services, I found that other companies were not as comprehensive and lacked a few checks here and there (usually due to lacking necessary technology/equipment), which could be the difference between a good car and a lemon. And others like AA may be too focused on ticking boxes on their checklist and inspectors may not have the experience or willingness to let buyers know about problems that might not be on said checklist. I wanted a thorough inspection and full confidence in the used car I'd be buying from a private seller as they obviously have not obligations under the CGA, and Carl gave us just that.We have already recommended Carl to some of our friends and will definitely be in touch in the future when looking for a new car ourselves. First time I’ve had a pre purchase car inspection so wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I was totally impressed by how comprehensive and detailed the assessment and report was not to mention the great communication and efficient service.

Great service and super fast turn-around. We got in touch on Saturday, Carl did a very thorough inspection the next day and we had a report in hand before the dealership opened on Monday.

Carl was so responsive and helpful. He freely gave advice on purchasing 2nd hand car even before I engaged him for his service. When I did engage him, he was fast to reply and even went out of his way to make sure I could save on some cost. The report came quickly as well after the inspection. Carl is definitely worth the time and money.

If you are in the market for buying a car - Carl is your guy. Words don't do justice for the amazing experience we had. It's so nice to see great customer service in NZ...probably the best I've experienced.
