I purchased a Halsey King/Queen headboard from Target, after 2 weeks we were sent a stinky headboard with fungus all over it. It was pretty disappointing and unpleasant experience. Their delivery team did not do any checks before delivering product to customer.In the end i cancelled my order and got a refund on on next day. This was my first purchase and will never make any purchase from Target again.

All the services are great except delivery. 3 weeks for bed delivery???really? If we order the bed from Auckland online, it will be much quicker than order from Lower Hutt surely. I have bought some of my stuff from Australia, I have received them already and still waiting for the bed delivery… this is absolutely unreasonable.

I purchase a bed frame from Target, the experience was awful, I would never shop Target again. First, when I picked up the frame in the morning, I was given a headboard only, I discovered this after back home, called Target, drove back (20+ kms one way), found 2 other pieces, but the slat was missing. Spent 2 hours in the warehouse trying to find the part. I was promised to be contacted and delivered when it is found. But neither happened. I made about 10 calls with Target, finally picked up the slat two weeks later. Second, when I put up the bed, the slat is poorly made, the image on the website photo and description show the slat is solid wood, but what I get is made from MDF. The bed has very strong irritating glue odour, I cannot fall asleep that night, and have to have all my windows open during sleep. I emailed the Target weborder email address, they haven't replied me after a week.

We purchased a kitchen table a few weeks ago, for around $400. We placed a cardboard box on top of it in the process of moving which has scratched the veneer off the top of the table. Target told us there was no problem with the product. Do not buy any product with veneer, it’s not of acceptable quality and target won’t take any responsibility for their substandard quality.Update: had a replacement delivered over a month later, that too was damaged. Offered a refund over the phone which was then rescinded in store. If I could downgrade this to zero stars I would.

Awful communication from the team. Was told my couch would be a two month wait, that turned into 3 month wait and then a 6 month wait. Ordered another couch from another retailer and came in a week. They say they’ll keep in contact and then don’t. Best thing about them is how quick the refund comes through.

My partner and I purchased a great bed base + head from Target furniture but unfortunately we lost one of the parts when we were moving house - Peter from Target in Auckland helped us out and managed to get us a replacement part free of charge within a few days. Fantastic service!

Simply the best esp Hon-great communication -we were rang each week-we had to wait like everyone else but if people watched the business news they would realize that you will have to wait like the rest of NZ. Thanks Hon-great service
