Looksmart Alterations

Although the service was good the prices are horrendous. I understand that leasing floor area in a mall is quite costly but this is ridiculous. I bought 2 x blk shirts in to be taken up and the costs was $86 I could not believe it. I will not be returning to this store.

Jane was extremely helpful today,I was impressed. You can tell she enjoys what she does. It was extremely busy with customers waiting and phone ringing. She stays calm under pressure.Jane is truly an asset, you are lucky to have her working for you .King regardsJillene Strang

Great company did a thoroughly professional job and dropped of the goods to my house as one of the workers lived close by, I was very grateful for their unsolicited delivery on my part.

Many times in last few years I visited LookSmart" in "Palms" with various tasks

Brought a pair jeans in the to get shortened and rolled up at the ends. to come back to find completely taken up. Buggered up my $100 dollar jeans - unable to wear and they look silly now. Sent invoice in for refund - still chasing my money three weeks ago finding they did the wrong alterations.

Lovely cheerful ladies! Took up my dress in time even though they were busy, very grateful. Dress looked amazing. I will be taking future dresses there because I'm a short a$$. Thanks ladies, see you soon

The area manager Katherine was horrible called me and told me off, demanding cash for payment as eftpos isn't available at the northlands store..I had made prior arrangements that she then cancelled. I needed my pants ready for wear Sunday morning. I was promised they would be ready saturday. I called on Friday to check the progress and I was told they're shut on Saturday now and they won't be ready!!! Was anyone going to call me and inform me ? No! Luckily I checked, arranged another store to finish the work thanks to an amazing new staff member called Emma. The area manager katherine was extremly rude said she was going to be getting all the staff who dealt with me into trouble which is not right they were so nice and friendly to me and the service was outstanding. Katherine however, calling me at 6pm at night and having a go and telling me of, demanding I bring cash to pay not eftpos. If you don't like your job find one that you will enjoy! Sadly I won't be coming back and I'll be sharing my experience with everyone I work with!

I usually get my alterations done with you and have had multiple pants taken up and tapered. I recently came in to get my jeans stitched where they had ripped (no longer than my pinky finger) and was told it would be $30.00 to stitch up. I have had pants taken up cheaper then that and I was not impressed. I took these jeans to Maxwell's and was able to have them stitched for $15.70. The worst is I have been a long term customer who will now not return due to the extreme pricing.

Had a dress shortened/hemmed by Gem (Jem?) at The Palms store and it was a tricky stretch fabric. She was incredibly friendly, accommodating and professional. Quick turnaround and it looked perfect.
