Do not use them for your property in Whangarei.The owner of Northland Insulation was reluctant to even visit the house to quote even though I have permission to enter prior to settlement. Finally convinced him I have permission and arranged for the real estate agent to let him in. Followed up on the quote after week to find out how long away the quote will be. First he couldn't even remember visiting the property, then he preceded to tell me that he can't touch the property because the house isn't unconditional, I explained it is unconditional and all I wanted at this stage is to know when the quote is expected. He told me again I can't put insulation in before I own it...... I know! I explained I just wanted to know when I would get the quote so I can give an indication to prospective tenants when the insulation will be topped up. Again, he told me I can't do anything until I own it.Ended up telling him I would get someone else to do the job.Clearly doesn't need the business and I can't see why anyone would want to deal with this business when they are rude to their customers..... I'm just trying to be a responsible LL and give my tenants a warm house!Don't use Northland Insulation!! Frustrating to deal with.
