The graphics about dog behavior are clear and easy to understand. They've helped me know my own dog better, and recognize what's happening in a group of dogs.

Puppy school was a very positive experience for us both. Really appreciated the individual attention we were able to receive in the small group, but especially the extra ideas for my mobility issues. Nothing was a problem that couldn’t be solved for the individual, dogs as well as owners!Highly recommend!

Having just completed our puppy classes I was so impressed with the outcomes all of the pups attending had in such a short time frame. Classes are small and well planned to ensure success for all!I am so glad ABC Dogs was our first pick for puppy classes!

I have been working with Jonelle over the past few months to try to settle our very anxious dog.It was hard work at first and felt a bit overwhelming at times, but I always felt like I had Jonelle’s full trust and support.The training is not finished and will be ongoing for a while, but I now feel like I have the tools and confidence to be able to do it on my own.The difference in our dog is incredible. She is much more relaxed and settled which has meant a calmer household.I can’t recommend Jonelle enough!

I have an anxious, suspicious, though very intelligent and affectionate dog, whose anxiety manifests as reactivity (to so many things - cars, dogs, bikes, to name a few). While we had made progress with a (force free) online training package and our lovely behavioural vet Cath Rivron, it took Jonelle's one on one training to get to the point where we could start a proper counter conditioning programme for his dog and traffic reactivity. Ghost has a long way to go yet but now I understand how to work with him and also how to avoid reinforcing the wrong emotional states. If you are looking for a force free trainer in Dunedin I can recommend Jonelle and her ABC dog training. (PS she was admirably patient with my lack of faith and tendency to argue with her at times). I have learned a lot!

I highly recommend ABC Dogs for at-home training and group classes. The advice has been invaluable and laid down the foundations for good behaviour and calm, happy dogs. We plan to attend more classes!
