Saddlery Warehouse

This place has a quality range, inexpensive prices and normally helpful staff. But last weekend when I went, I was shocked at how bad the customer service was! The two shop assistants were being quite rude. They made some nasty comments, they practically ignored me and the other customers, and they weren't being very helpful. They were engrossed in their little convo behind the counter, and took no interest in helping any of their customers. When I asked where I would find a specific type of riding shirt, they just pointed in a random direction! RUDE! I am a very unsatisfied customer. Maybe it was just those two ladies, but I definitely hope this isn't the new standard of service! I don't want to see my fave shop go down the drain!

Helpful staff, good prices

Pukekohe store has Great customer service. Easy to locate products and nice and clean. A little on the small side but otherwise great.

There is always a helpful staff member ready to help with anything you might need. The store is always well stocked, and Saddlery warehouse has some of the most competitive prices for equestrian gear in NZ.

Apart from only stocking figure hugging bling clothing it's awesome. If the don't have it they'll get it for you. Heaps of other things too like saddle fitting and cover repairs.

Love that they are helping with the Australian bush fires by shipping donated items over, great little store with many product options and friendly staff.

Absolutely terrible experience in this store. Two women behind the counter didn't even look at us when we entered the store with one scowling at me when I said good morning like it was rude of me to interrupt their morning chit chat. Ten minutes we were in the store and not once were we asked if we needed help with anything. Will never step foot in the place again. We travel all the way up to the Albany store now. Amazing team, very knowledgeable, friendly and give you the time of day. Pukekohe could learn a thing or two about customer experience from them.

Helpful staff. I know nothing about horses, but it smells close enough to a motorbike shop to make me feel at ease. Daughter in Law very happy with her Xmas vouchers.
