I went there for the first time after viewing their website. I mentioned that my fireplace could only burn specific types of wood, we had a discussion, & was offered the type to use. The Team Leader was very knowledgeable & helpful. The entire Team were friendly, & Switched-On!!A very Professional organization.

Have been coming here for years and for good reason. Firewood is always dry and is bagged up, which is a great hassle and mess free option. Super helpful staff that can also recommend good woods for cooking and smoking - They even loaded the wood into my car!Cheers Auckland firewood!

Unfortunately these guys are hardly open - I’m outside the yard now because the website says they are open but they are closed. Again. Time to find a new wood supplier for winter.

I have been buying gum firewood from Chris for years and it has always been the same excellent quality but recently he recommended I try another form of firewood - furniture maker's offcuts and this has proven to be excellent too. The wood is less rustic looking (it's been machined into rectangular sections to make outdoor furniture) but it is super-dense and it stacks up tightly into a sack. For $1.25 more per sack I'm pretty sure you're getting more burning power. Lifting the sack it is noticeably heavier. I like burning a mixture of gum and furniture offcuts, together they produce sustained heat.

Great service, great advice, very convenient and most importantly great firewood.Price compares well to bulk supplies, with superior quality. How highly recommend.Don’t forget to keep the bags dry and flat, and return them for a refund. That reminder is as much for me, and I tend to forget!

The owner is a a great guy who works hard and offers a premium product that is consistent and reliable - have been going for years and will keep going as I'm a real believer in supporting your local guys who care about what they do.The other thing that I have noticed and have to mention is he hires young guys and trains them up - they start loading bags and then progress to face to face customer service which has been excellent across all the young guys he has had and they open up when the owner isn't there - great to see him taking on and training young people upGreat little Kiwi Business

Just discovered this place while looking for some wood to get us through the last few cold weeks of winter. Gold! Very dry wood, cut to a perfect size for the fireplace and a reasonable price for the quality and convenience. We got the gum, burns great. Highly recommended!
