Canterbury Aluminium

Windows installed a couple of years ago, none are sealed properly. Canterbury Aluminium acknowledged the work has not been done correctly but is still willing to send the same contractor (the one who installed the windows and has hidden on purpose his dodgy work) to fix the windows... Now the windows are leaking, and still waiting for remediation.

These guys had excellent pre sales service but subsequently this went down hill fast. The worst communication I have every experienced, lack of delivery date clarity, blatant lies. I now discover we have probably were advised incorrectly.

we had an extension of our home which Canterbury Aluminium qouted the job stating they could have job completed by a given date and so on. Sadly they got everything wrong. It took 8 months to complete the job after many visits trying to get it right. Then blaming suppliers,glaziers,floods in auckland and even there own tradies. I found they never returned calls. Made excuse after excuse. Never arrived when they said they would and so on.Would I use them again. Never!! would I reccomend them to any one Never!!They di however offer a $500 discount of final payment. They didnt get it all we wanted was our Joinery to be installed and correctly working.Sorry if I sound negitive as I really try to be positive. I felt so sorry for installers even they were very embarrassed.cheersLou

We have also spent many thousands with these guys 10 months & Still waiting for replacements. (Actually just got themdone today. STILL Disgraceful. This is how you / I got them. After a reasonable time get a quote from another company to remedy the work. Then tell them that if they don't do the work by a reasonable time then you will have the work done and take them to the small claims court. The only question i can see is determining what is a reasonable time. I am not a lawyer and you have to get your own advise but seems clear to me the consumer guarantees act seems pretty clear on it.

Site measure and product brilliant. Matt great to deal with. Glazing absolutely terrible had to have 7 panels replaced which took months and the communication was non existent.

Very poor follow through on warranty work. Now going on 8 months with promise of foĺlowup not happening at all. Up to about 30 calls plus extra on emails. Last window replacement sent out faulty as well. No ownership and I do all the contact work.

had my windows 3 years all the windows in the double stacker sliding door have all frosted waited 7 months for them to replace them & they only turned up with 2 of the windows its now be 10 month & I'm still waiting, i dont recommend these guys quick to take your money but not quick to fix any problems

They delivered our garage backdoor without a lock. We asked them for one twice explaining we were going on holiday. They still didn’t deliver one and we were robbed while we were on holiday.

Canterbury Aluminium replaced half of our windows some years ago and the remaining half just now. We had quotes and discussions with various other companies and this one came out on top without doubt. From the initial meeting with Nicole, to the highly professional installation by Ian and his guys, everything was totally perfect. And the job was not without difficulties, ours being an older house. So if I could give more than five stars, I would give lots more!

Worst Aluminum company I have ever dealt with. It has taken 7 months to get half of my windows delivered. I was initially told a 4-6 week turn around. even with a $15,000 deposit i did not see anything for 5 months. I now have half of my windows and possibly someone elses window as its the wrong size and colour. Wasted money on scaffold and am now installing in winter.
