We spoke with Liam regarding opening an account and setting up a mortgage. Liam's customer service was INCREDIBLE. He was extremely prepared for our meeting and was shockingly efficient. He walked us through everything step by step and answered the few extra questions we had along the way.Liam's communication skills are unmatched. He explained everything wonderfully and built immediate rapport with us. He took the stress out of the whole process - I cannot speak highly enough of him.Thanks for all your help Liam!!!

Recently spent 2.5 hours discussing a credit card with Zac Silk (consultant) he was meant to send an email detailing the last bits of information he requires.. Still waiting

Contrary to other reviewers, I have always had good experiences at this branch. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and as long as you don't make the mistake of visiting at lunch time like the majority of people (thus large lines) there is only ever a very short wait to be served. Would recommend.

There is always something wrong when I stop by the Riccarton branch. Faulty/Out of Order Change" machine

Unprofessional staff. The staff on phone told me that I do not need an appointment regarding a credit card issue. When I went to the store, a lady told that I need an appointment. Very unprofessional.

Nice place. Terrible customer service! Had 1:30 pm appointment, approached at 1:48pm and was told appointment got changed to 2:30pm. No advise received either thru phone call or text.

We could not be more thankful for Rachel Spragg of Westpac Riccarton. If there are any first home buyers out there then I cannot stress enough that you NEED to go and visit her! After an absolutely horrendous experience with a ‘Mortgage Broker’ from Loan Market.. what took him 10 days to get to with no result, took Rachel a matter of hours to get everything underway. Rachel genuinely cares, that to us was so important. She absolutely went out of her way (when she wasn’t even working and was on leave) to help us get approved to be able to buy our dream home. She worked so hard for us and we could tell she genuinely wanted to get it across the line for us. This lady deserves a pay rise! Thank you again Rachel you have restored our faith in the first home buying experience and have actually changed our lives. We will be recommending her to everyone we know. Really bad customer “service”. The lady in counter is rude and doesn’t care about the clients circumstances at all. Usually I get very good experience from Westpac but this person is doing extra time in a job she doesn’t even like.
