Easily the best airline for short flights in NZ and probably the best personalised service as standard of any airline I've ever flown - anywhere. Fantastic customer service, phones answered promptly and really personalised approach to any requirements. Great experience throughout the whole journey from booking to baggage pick up. Keep it up!

The best airline for short flights in NZ! I have flown Soundsair twice in the past 6 months, and I recommend it to all of my friends and coworkers. It is the smoothest flying experience I have ever had, since you don’t have to deal with 100 other people getting on a plane at once. It’s just you with 12 or so other people, and the planes are small but very comfortable. The pilots and desk agents are always very nice, and the flights are short and enjoyable. I will definitely be flying with them again.

A little history of Sounds Air: ...Sounds Air is a New Zealand airline based at Picton. The airline was founded in 1986 by Cliff and Diane Marchant to provide low cost flights to the Marlborough Sounds. The airline has a maintenance facility at Omaka aerodrome with its Sounds Aero Maintenance division based there..." (wiki). Today Sounds Air flies from Wellington and Picton to many North and South Island locations of Aotearoa. The Aircraft fleet is modern and comfortable with excellent support staff from Wellington Airport."
