This supermarket was a hit back when they first opened. In 2023 I can't seem to get everything I need. Shelves are always empty(especially bread section)majority of the time. The supervisor(s)(Indian looking lady) is/are rude and never smiles or welcomes the customers when they walk in. I've also overheard the supervisor treat other customers in an impolite manner. I guess I'll be shopping at NW Newlands from now on.

Just come home from New World.I have an immobile right arm injury and grocery shopping with one arm is real hard. I got to checkout and asked the guy, Archer for some help.He didn’t ask what I was after, just knew and put my groceries on the checkout bench. I forgot to get an extra diet Coke and asked if he’d mind getting it because my arm was getting really sore, he gladly helped. Archer also offered to put the groceries in two bags to make carrying them easier.This chap is a teenager and should be very proud of his selfless customer service.Cheers

Great staff and good produce but they NEVER have any bread. It doesn’t matter what time of day or day of the week I try.I can never do a full grocery shop here.

My Wife received the most disgusting treatment from an Indian woman atthe self service checkout. She was accused of not scanning a $2 bag of lollies in front of all the other shoppers. After they finally printed the receipt it was only then that they admitted they were wrong and she had paid for the lollies. We have shopped their for over 10 years every day and know most of the staff by name. Its a pity that one staff member causes so much damage. In future we will be shopping at the Newlands store.
