Went there around 2pm, pies tasted like they had just been microwaved and then put in the warmer. Terrible gravy filled pie. Cinnamon bun was dry and disappointing. Older lady served me with the usual poor attitude, she really needs to find another job if she hates the public so much. Asked her twice for two sausage rolls, I paid for two and still only received one! Cream buns are the only thing that saves this shop, always delicious. I recommend you go to the Mornington store if you can, just to avoid the staff at the Musselburgh one.

Been trying a few bakeries in Dunedin lately but always go back to Bakers Dozen for Bacon and egg pies, pasties and my favorite girdle scones.

If you want a decent steak pie, don't go here, they are basically a thick gravy type substance with a couple of pieces of meat. The food in the rest of the cabinets is good though.

Food is great as always but that's where it ends. I don't expect to be yelled at and treated poorly. I pay good money for the items. The older lady is always bad but now she has a younger one who is if not worse. Sometimes people just need to check them selves doesn't take much to think would I like to be treated like that.

tried a gluten free steak pie was over $8. 3 bits of steak pastry was the worst GF I've tried and soggy, the lady that served was a funeral faced grumpy old bat. wont be trying again.

This place has a incredible variety of food. Great pies,buns,filled rolls. Cakes sweets etc. Coffee is good but sometimes the que gets a bit long. There was one person serving the food counter and one doing coffee but the people moved through reasonably steady. Trouble is with such a variety some people take a bit of time to decide what to have. Anyway it is worth stopping there if you are in the area and want something for a change.
