Raw Fish Ceviche with Coconut Cream, tomatoes, red onions and cucumbers was so delicious. It was the perfect snack before dinner. It was divine and highly recommend this dish. Forgot to take a photo. It’s in the taste. It was so reasonably priced $5. Thank you Cuzzie’s Kai.

Tania puts a lot of time, effort and love into her food and you can taste it. One of the only places to get hangi on the South Island and the burgers are to die for. I was traveling solo and she was kind enough and join me for a bit to eat and ask about my travels. Visit this welcoming little spot on the beach. You won’t be disappointed.

Right at the beautiful beach you will find this small food stand. Don't let the size fool you. The food is amazing, from the raw fish to the original Maori dish, Hangi.Also, I got to talk to the owner a few times, who is an amazing and friendly person.

What a hidden gem!! Everything we ate was exception — the hangi combo in particular was the best thing I ate in New Zealand. Eat it just as she tells you to — starter, main, dessert. We were super impressed by the fish and chips — so flavorful with perfect crunch. A perfect day is taking your food to go, picking up beers at the liquor store down the street, walking to the beach, and enjoying your food at a picnic table while watching the waves and swatting away the seagulls. Can’t wait to return!!

Good food, great price, amazing location. We had the Hangi and the fish and chips. Fish and chips was 10/10. The fish was huge, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The batter is not just light and perfectly crispy. But it has a unique color and taste that compliments the fish. You can also tell just how fresh the fish is. While we were eating the owner got a call letting her know what fish had come in that day and asking for her order. This is ocean to table and it tastes like it.The hangi was great to try and important to hear the story behind. The lamb was tender and flavorful. Not by favorite food in general but well made and nice to try something Māori.The owner and location couldn’t be better. Sit and watch the waves crash and have a chat if you feel like it. Great experience and I would be quick to return.

Best fried fish i ever have in nz. Very thin layer of batter nice coat with fresh&juicy&and thick fish fillet. Fish are seasonal so you should ask for the lady what is the fish of the day, highly recommended. The food truck is located near the Hokitika beach, very easy to get
