2014 we damaged our front gates and decided to replace them with new ones, we gathered quotations and decided on Best Steel not because they were cheapest (and they were not ) but they were prepared to work in with us, we are so pleased we did, because Gary and the team there did the very best job for us, great workmanship, attention to detail and the gates look classy awesome job !Thanks GaryBruce McKenzie

We ordered large gates for our home in Wanaka from Best Steel when we visited ChCh. They understood exactly what we wanted and the finished product was of a high quality. Customer service was excellent they kept us well informed on the progress of the manufacturing in the short time-frame they predicted. They also arranged transportation of the gates to us in Wanaka . A very pleasant team to work with. We highly recommend.

Very high quality gate and motor. Excellent service on the same day when needed. Cost a little more than other gates we have had but well worth every cent! Stood up to storm when neighbours cheeper gate got blown over. Still looks great and works well.

Best Steel installed a custom designed gate to replace part of an existing fence, with the aim of making it look like the fence (we replaced the existing fence palings on the gate), but to be able to be opened to better access a parking area for our large caravan. This uphill rising gate required a strengthened gate post, with specialist, heavy duty uphill rising hinges and a removable post where the gate closes. Gary provided an immediate solution on seeing what we needed, installation was a done without fuss and the result is exactly as we needed. Thanks a lot Gary and your team.John Sanders
