Fresh new presentation of this old Dunedin drama venue. Wonderful juxtaposition of brilliant new bathroom block and completely historical stage and auditorium.

Watched Boeing Boeing, a brilliant play. Fabulous cast, awesome theatre.Will definitely be going back, the whole experience was brilliant.

Cosy place where drama plays are done. Set in a home of dedicated theatre actors. Atmosphere is great. Watching actors perform plays is a great experience. Will go again.

Love the atmosphere of an old theatre. Friendly staff. Really organised for Covid requirements. Great Agatha Christie show. Seats are not as comfy as a modern theatre but certainly not uncomfortable either. Front seats would be good for those that can't manage small numbers of stairs.

Great night. Wonderful play. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Classic dunedin venue. Live theater...you can't beat it for touching the heart and really feeling alive. Just do it (and please don't sue me for the last statement).

The Globe Theater is a real Dunedin treasure, it puts on challenging and thought provoking plays in a charming and historically significant venue. The effort and money that had gone into maintenance and upgrading the Globe Theatre provides a wonderful experience.

I am currently rehearsing as Nanny Ogg in Terry Pratchett's, 'Wyrd Sisters.' This is a wonderfully, irreverent take off of Shakespeare's, 'Macbeth.' The play begins on the 22nd February, 2018. Come and join in the fun!
