Retroscooter

I was completely ripped off by this garage.I took my scooter a Vesper 200 gt to them because it was faltering and needed attention.THEY PHONED ME TO SAY THAT THE BIKE WAS IN TERRIBLE CONDITION AND WASNT WOTH FIXING PLUS YOU COULDN'T GET THE PARTS.They said the clutch was completely worn out.They gave me a bill for over 300 dollars I had already bought a new ignition part which would have fixed the electrical problem which they said was the wrong part.The gave me an invoice which stated they had serviced the bike replaced the rollers, air filter, oil and serviced the bike.I have just taken it to Motomobile a main Vespa dealer on College Hill.To my complete surprise they said there was nothing majorly wrong with the bike and that it hadnt been touched in a while they replaced the rollers and gave me the old ones the oil was black and the air filter hadn't been replaced they have also said the clutch is fine and should be good for another 3 to 4000 k's.The installed the ignition part I had and all told charged me 230.00I absolutely certain I was conned I have never had anything like this happen to me before.I also checked the invoice and realised that the milage on the oinvoice is for a completely different milage to my bike????Not sure what to do so far they have offered to refund the 50 dollars for the rollers>What an insult.....Any one have any ideas as what to do?.................

Retro Scooter have been looking after my scooters for about 18 months. They are very meticulous and do great work. They have particularly made my scooters safer showing me poor workmanship and parts supplied by others. They offer an Uber ride if you have trouble getting to and from their location. Haven't tried the coffee yet.
