Stop on way through for food and toilet. Slow service. Ordered a coke with meal, would not call it coke. Chicken was cold.Toilets? Oh wow if you're going to catch something while in Matamata pretty sure it will be from those toilets. Been to cleaner toilets on the side of the roads here.

Has down hill steadily in the last year or so, chicken very dry and tasteless, coleslaw was extremely watery and not pleasant to eat. And bottles of drink were not very well chilled

Worst experience I've ever had at a fast food outlet. Went through the drive through amongst the order was popcorn chicken for my six year old. When I paid at the window noticed the popcorn chicken wasn't included. Asked to add it which the young guy said he would need to check. Came back and told me they are too busy. I could understand if they had run out of popcorn chicken but to get my order wrong and then apparently too busy to supply something on the menu was infuriating. Poor service

I’m surprised people don’t give this store good ratings. This is probably one of the better KFC stores in New Zealand. They have good customer service and food arrives faster than you can find a spot to sit. This shows how hard working their current employees are as they can do this even when busy. Their chicken and chips are also fresh and hot when received and still crunchy. Would take this KFC store over McDonalds any day.

Mainly use the drive through.Fast, efficient & good food.Have not had any issues with our orders which other chains suffer

We are happy with the food but staff get orders wrong when we request something small like certain chicken pieces or extra seasonings. They can atleast say no to the request instead of us having to pay for the order and not enjoying the meal when we get it. Waste of time and money. (This is for a snack lunch and we always request chicken thigh as the chicken piece)

BEST CHICKEN IN NZ AND AUSTRALIA HERE. We have eaten KFC in both countries, this shop has the most TENDER CHICKEN every time!! We are going in to tell them next time. Been eating here for 1 year off and on and it's always the same great chicken!

Ordered a few different burgers and chips. Absolutely no flavor to the burgers.Chips were dry , very disappointing

Been there a few times and in all honesty compared to other KFC's this is the freshest we have been too. I'd say 8-9/10 in terms of food quality, so overall a pretty good experience.
