Rude an judgemental lady behind the counter. Yes I was alittle untidy as had come from work. From the moment I walked in she looked down at me. I asked about a lava lamp an the first thing I was told was its 60 are u sure u want that. Yes I was sure or would not of asked about it in the first place. Really wanted the lava lamp but her being a rude judgemental ladie put me off buying anything from the store so went to another branch who was more than happy to help me.Moral of the story is just cos I looked alittle scruffy not mean I can't afford your items. But northlands has lost my business an I tell everyone I know not to shop there. Also spent 500 in the store an you were worried if I could afford a 60 lava lamp.Very rude. Wish I got your name as I would include that on here.

One staff member was very rude and Unpatient. No one wanted to simile. I just cough once and covered my cough and I was told to step away because she didn't want to catch anything. Are you serious lady. I'm so put off by you I'll never step foot in there again.

They have lots of wonderful things in this store but they aren't very friendly. I tried to have a conversation with them but I felt that they just wanted to get rid of me.

The staff and service.at papanui store are the rudest I've come across..dont go to northlands go to tower junction where staff are lovely and great service as they great you with a smile and happy to serve you

Rude as hell staff. Walked in looking to browse and actually found some items we were wanting to purchase, ended up getting scolded by a staff member for holding the stuff we wanted to buy? How are we supposed to buy something if we can't hold it?

Very disappointed the way I have been treated by one of the ladies from the Northland mall store while doing the Christmas shopping. I was just asking if the gift has also a box and the way she responded was absolutely unprofessional and I would say even rude. I ended up buying two gifts and before making the payment I thought to have a look inside the box to make sure the gift is in one piece. The lady again asked me why I'm looking inside the box or what's the problem that I'm looking inside. I replied that I want to ensure that the item is ok before making the purchase. Very unpleasant experience overall and I won't recommend this store.

I always visit this shop when I am in the mall. Everything is beautifully presented with great displays, but there is so much crammed on the shelves and they are so close together I feel uncomfortable moving between them. Also they do not display the prices and there is no way you can lift something to see it. There is great variety and something for every occasion. I love the range of clothing and most of it is at very reasonable prices.

Always find something that I love and want to take home. They do lay by. Great for xmas or special occasion gifts. I have my eye on a lovely candelabra to go on a lovely glass table which is also a clock.

i thought this was a nice place to shop until one older staff was not that nice to me. I remember I was having a look at the kimonos. When I was choosing the sizes and the colours and noticed they are not suitable forme so i put them back. I was only holding on 3 kimonos. Only 2 of them were not for me. Suddenly, this older lady thought i stole them and asked me I saw you took 5 kiminos! Let me check your bag!" My bag has nothing inside. I was so confused what she was on about. She is more than welcome to check the cameras in the shop if she thinks this way next time. I am never going back to this shop again."
