Spectacular beach and usually less populated than other nearby beaches. You will almost certainly encounter sea lions lying on the beach.

We parked the car at the area next to the intersection with Southdale Road near the fishing club (that's quite a clubhouse). It's maybe a 500m walk alongside the Tomahawk Creek to the beach. We saw a couple of oystercatchers but also there was a sea lion chilling on the sand, just having a scratch. A nice scenic spot, among many around here.

Nice beach. When high tide, the beach is almost gone. Nice white sand beach. Good for surfing.
