Very cool beach. Didn’t realise you could walk to the island at low tide. You get a pretty nice sunrise at this beach too!

Good picnic area and seaside park. Under cover electric bbq available as well ad Blackies Cafe.Still the same. Blackies have painted their table and it looks good.

Peaceful, stunning. From kids playing with toy cars, to couples walking their dogs. Clean, tidy, well kept park next to one of the most beautiful beaches in NZ in my opinion.
