Smales Farm

We had a great visit to the Smales Farm monthly farmers market. We purchased exquisite oyster mushrooms fresh from the grower. Had a tasty breakfast from a super cute retro caravan. Stocked up on edible treats, and gifts. And ordered some crafts to be made in a fabric of our choice. So many stalls to hold our attention. We even bought treats for the dog. We will be back for sure, just need to time our trips to Auckland for the right weekend

Nice variety of eateries. Service was quick. Not very busy for a long weekend, though did vist about 3pm. Music outside was a little loud for my taste. Bathrooms usually clean & are modern.

This place has a lovely vibe to it. Will definitely be trying other eating establishments here

Fabulous market in a great location with all the parking you could need! A wide range of fabulous stalls, great food, and coffee!

Went to Smales Farm Sunday Market. Popular. Interesting food, crafted, hand-made and artistic products available. Clever, skilled artisans. I enjoy this market.

Visited here for the farmers market. Nice market, good atmosphere. It's the best market I have been in Auckland. Lovely shops and food.

Loved the Easter market here! They have a farmers market once a month and it's definitely worth checking out.

What a disappointment! It could have been fabulous, but because they didn’t give the stalls much room between them for the walking area, you felt like you were queuing for a concert! Not only that, a market like this is NOT suitable for dogs & prams! Take your dog to the beach for gods sake! The gourmet product stall holders were great! But we kept looking for the fresh fruit & Vege & only found an avocado guy and the guy from Simply Fresh, who was as expensive as Countdown…..The market opens at 9.30am & by 10am the carpark was a nightmare and it was so tight you were waiting for an accident. It was a hot, frustrating & not particularly pleasant experience.They had a live band, but nowhere to sit and enjoy them & eat some of your purchases….didn’t buy a coffee for fear of someone bumping into me & spilling it!!Do the organisers of this market ACTUALLY know what a weekend market should be like?Such a shame, could’ve been fabulous with plenty of room down at Smales Farm to do it….☹️
