Excellent site for Kiwis wanting to diversify their portfolios with US equities, including etfs, and adrs. Very investor friendly not only with low cost easy to do stock investing, but also re xrate and tax issues.

Suddenly maintenance for the website, and shut it down while the US market is opened and there is no attachment and notice.Seriously don't know when i can trade my sharesHatch makes my fund hazy.....

While there are a few bad reviews for service, overall after a more than 3 years of using the service, I would say 99.9% of time I've had no problem.Definitely a 5 star organization, and most importantly very trustworthy. You'll be hard pressed to find a better company to invest in the US stock market in NZ, in my opinion.

i hold most my assets in hatch simple to use and their stock prices are usually the closest to live compared to others especially if you wish to buy and sell on opportunity. Would be great if they had a instant deposit option using visa where the money lands in your account immediately.

Helpdesk - non-responsive. Have logged a call through Hatch’s help line. No response. Scheduled a (confirmed) call today Hatch never called.Withdrawals - archaic. You have to provide / upload a photo of recent bank statement to withdraw your money which takes a day to review and who has them printed nowadays? Sharesies gives you your money overnight at the latest two days.Reliability - not up to the standards of other trading systems. Hatch’s service has ‘gone down’ / not accessible twice times in last six months.Sticking to Sharesies thanks...
