Stole my blinker fluid - broke the Flux capacitor and declared me dead to IRD. He didn't stop there though, he lactate through his shirt and offered me his personal free range cheese for $45perkg, he didn't even have a smart savers coupon for me to use. Do not recommend.

Purchased full tank of fuel and asked if there was a bin for our wrappers from previous stop. Told no, bins up the road". Postulated could staff woman see irony of selling drinks

Whilst the lady at the till was great this is THE most expensive fuel station in New Zealand. $2,44.99 for unleaded 91 - ouch! Rather go to Franz Josef if you can, it's 35 mins down the road.

My boyfriend and I were experiencing some engine problems with our campervan on our way to Franz Josef (likely the result of an oil leak) and were relieved when we managed to get to Fox Glacier’s Motors 40 mins before it closed. When we arrived the mechanic was working on another van and said that he wouldn’t be looking at another one until tomorrow. From his deadpan tone we couldn’t quite tell whether he was joking and asked if he’d be able to at least take a quick look since we were stranded and a bit desperate. After hearing about our issue he just repeatedly made sarcastic jokes about how we’d need to sell it for parts. It became clear after a while that he wasn’t going to help us and another customer ended up showing us how to refill our oil. Thankfully we managed to get hold of another mechanic in Franz Josef (Franz Alpine Mechanics) who helped us despite having closed over an hour ago. The contrast in how helpful these two mechanics were was ridiculous. I strongly recommend the latter!

Great service . Fuel prices are a little high but they are the only fuel for over 100 km from Haast and in the middle of nowhere .

Clarke the mechanics did a great job looking after us. Our rental car had a flat tire with no spare, and he was kind enough to drive to us to check it out. After examining the tire, he made several more checks to make sure there wasn't any more damage before repairing the hole. He had a very friendly nature and we appreciated his light humour. He charged us a very reasonable price and had us on our way within the hour

Quite expensive fuel compared to what we've seen on our drive and not so friendly for us

The two stars are for the fact that our new tyre was fitted and we were able to continue to our destination safely. The minus three stars are for the manners and helpfulness of the owner. Anyone who addresses their office computer as an fxxxxxx cxxx in the presence of a female customer when totting up the bill requires serious education in self-respect and courtesy.

We had a flat tyre in Frans Joseph and took it to Clarke at NPD. He was amazing. Unfortunately he couldn't replace the tyre but he went above and beyond. Great guy!

We had a show-stopping issue with our rental car, and we were desperate to get it fixed. Clarke was kind enough to drive to us, and fix the problem. He is friendly and has a good sense of humour. He worked quickly and efficiently, and we were charged less than what we were expecting. Highly recommended.
