The fault is still there! The repair has not been done ! $77 paid for nothing, and when i rang up to complain, I was cut off! Boaties beware of Matakana Marine!!!!!

Blind leading the blind at this place!. If your not sure what's wrong with your engine don'the expect these guys to figure it out fast. price gouging too! Charged double for what could be brought elsewhere for half the price!

I have dealt with other 'marine engine servicing companies' and in retrospect I am very happy to find Matakana Marine. The service is friendly, helpful and reliable. Plus their charges were fair and reasonable. Thoroughly recommended.

I had a flat tire on my road bike and, despite it not being their primary service, Chris went out of his way to help me fix it. Such outstanding service - thanks to Chris my son and I were able to ride home no worries.

Very disappointed with service.My Mercury 9.9 just had it's first service. When I delivered the outboard to them I asked for an estimate and was told it could be up to $150".When I telephoned to arrange collection I asked again how much it would cost and was told exactly the same thing.When I went to collect it the bill was over $200. Among the items listed was an in-line fuel filter costing $42.80 plus tax. The service manual says the filter should be cleaned or replaced on the first service. The motor has done about 10 hours

Took 10 hours to work out what was wrong then tried to charge double what the replacement part was worth. Not sure if they are really know what they are doing.

Chris at Matakana Marine recently completed a service on our Fi-glass Warrior’s 150hp Mercury outboard. He found a couple minor issues that the previous maintenance provider should have found. We now have piece of mind knowing our outboard has had such a through service. On top of this Chris did the service quickly and for exactly the price he quoted. He is very easy to deal with and Matakana Marine has a new long term customer. Jeff
