I was looking forward to trying fnc from here after reading the reviews. The fish was tasty and fresh, however the Crumbed Fish was a wee bit burnt and soggy. About 5% of the chips were also dark brown due to being over cooked. Still in searching for the best fnc in town.

Although I gave 5 stars the hotdog was missing from the $20 pack- having said that, we didn't miss it as there was extra fish.... delicious, very fresh fish. Extremely good value for 20 bucks, we have a bunch of leftovers... donuts were pretty good too.Edit: the menu has changed! See the new picture

I love fish n chips and must say these were a 5/5 I don't stay in wanganui often as a rep on the road I would stay more for these fish n chips

Accidentally ordered fish and chips here, instead of st Johns hill, as we are visiting Whanganui. We were totally blown away, great fish, sausages and cheap as chips! Thanks

We tried it after reading the reviews, totally awesome fish and chips. Need to sell tomato sauce to make it a complete experience. Will go back there again.

The best fish n chips in Whanganui. The fish is always so fresh, great taste and friendly workers. It's my go to for takeaway night. Decent price too.
