Proprietor Rumen is great, straight forward, knows everything about VW and European cars and is very keen to empower others with what he knows and share his extensive knowledge. Really nice to have such personal and responsive service at a garage. He's tried very hard to get me the best fuel injector repair deal he can: he didn't have to but he did 'coz that's the sort of good guy he is. Definitely my future mechanic of choice.

I recently moved to Wellington and looked up mechanics in the area before moving and the reviews speak for themselves!! Although Rumen was busy and his shop was full he still wanted to help me. He made it work somehow, fixed the issue and my car was ready for pick up the next day. The service was amazing! Its a 10/10 for me.

A small family business with real, genuine people.We needed a few things fixed in order to pass our warrant. We went to another mechanic before this, who wasted 2 weeks of our time only to tell us they couldn't find the parts we needed, leaving us just 2 days to get the problem sorted before our recheck was due.We then visited Prop Auto and in only 2 days, they found the parts and completed the repairs perfectly in time for us to pass our recheck.I will never go to another repair shop in Wellington, extremely highly recommend.

Guy is very pro. I had a machanic problem that the driving weel is hard to turn. The guy fix it in 5min once knowing the model of my car. The guy really know the stuff.

My WOF had expired and Rumen kindly got me in for the next day. When some issues were found during the WOF, he explained then to me so I understood what was needed. I was expecting higher prices as Wellington is a more expensive city but I was honestly quite impressed. He was thorough, reasonably priced, and got the parts fixed on the same day. I would very, very, very happily come again.

So so glad I came to Prop Auto, would definitely recommend. Rumen was great, very kind, and explained the changes/showed me the parts he took out and put in so I knew what had changed. I’m so thankful for the efficiency and care he took to fix the issues I’ve been having with my car - a real gem!
