I usually get Fish & Chips elsewhere for my Client in Mt Roskill but the regular place was closed. I went to Nana's Fish & Chips. Parking was a pain and I had a long walk.. and a 15 minute wait.... but all was worth it. I have never had such delicious fish.... it wasn't drowned in batter... fresh and fluffy.... and the chips are the best I've eaten in forever... truly delicious and now my favorite go to!

Very nice. The fish was excellent and the chips were tasty. Got a scallop to try and was pleased by the size. Batter was crunchy and non greasy. A bit of a waiting time 20mins but worth it. Well done.Happy to make this our new place for fish n chips.The gentleman was very pleasant.

Owner told us that he uses fresh fish and never used frozen fish. fish is fresh and generous in size compared to other fish and chips place. $9.99 for 2 fish+chips is pretty good value. we liked the flexibility to be able to change to twisted fries and kumara chips if u top up the price difference. we liked it so much that we visited this place 3 times during our short stay in auckland. first 2 times, was hoki, the 3rd time was another type of fish. we liked the hoki version more. twisted prawns had real prawn wrapped with popiah skin.If fish could be less oily, if chips could be more generous it would be perfect.when we found this place, the shop looks close as the interior was dark and no open door to enter, and after some figuring out, realised it's actually open. u need to go to the small window and request to order as owner may be busy cooking. we saw a customer walked away when they saw no one came out to take orders.Keep up the good work in providing good fish and chips! We wish Nana Fish and Chips a prosperous business!

My new favourite fish and chips shop. Amazing food at an awesome price and a cozy place to sit down and enjoy your meal.A wide variety of different options to cater for everyone. Fish and chips, fish cakes, mussels, samosas, donuts, coffee, burgers and lots of awesome.Great value and quality with a wide variety of $10 meals.You'll love it.

This place is so underrated, don’t judge a book by its cover! We’ve been here for fish and chips twice now! Fish is super delicious - melts in your mouth. Such good value packs that ensure there’s something for everyone. We got “F5” - 2x fish, 2x spring rolls, 3x nuggets and a scoop of chips for $21 which was plenty for the two of us. We will be back soon :)
