Wide gravel area with plenty of room for trucks to take break, particularly if Southbound, also can leave a trailer there. Or anyone that needs to stop for a while. Coffee van often there in the morning, makes a pretty good cup

At the moment so roads are getting seal so you've got a bit of congestion up there other than that it's really nice Peter roadworks

The only reason Google thinks I stopped here is because it took 30 mins to get through the poxy roadworks on a Sunday evening. Avoid at all costs until the roadworks are finished

This place is beautiful, I've seen baby pigs on the way 2 Warkworth... Still not over populated & after hours, the traffic & roads are great!

Good place to bring your kite hence the name but seriously Windy Ridge is known to blow over vehicle/carvans in extreme events
