Really tasty. Had the Steak and asked for it to be medium even though it does say served med rare. Was perfect!! So yum, great atmosphere and the dishes were cleaned beautifully. Great Adult beverage selection.

Beautiful little spot just off SH2. The food is top notch and the service is probably some of the best I’ve had in NZ. Had the calamari and the gnocchi & both were delicious and well presented. The calamari was the most tender I’ve ever had and would definitely recommend if you are a squid! Definitely will be coming here whenever I’m coming down from Auckland.

We went here for my hens party dinner and had the best time! Amazing service, delicious food as part of a generous set menu, fab cocktails, and fun, friendly atmosphere. The staff were just lovely and all 16 of us girls had a wonderful night. Can't wait to come back!

We have always had good experiences when dining at the White House, but recently they went above and beyond anything we could’ve ever expected with the service and empathy for the reason we were gathering. Our family experienced the untimely death of a much loved 44-year-old cousin and nephew. On the night before his funeral 13 family from out of town booked in to the White House for dinner as a means of having family time together before the funeral. We were seated in the Minden room that provided privacy and comfort. Two family members flew in from Australia and were Held up at the airport, arriving very late. The staff took their orders over the phone and then prepared the food as they arrived much later than everybody else. All this was done with sensitivity and just the right amount of banter. I am sure I’m speaking for all of the family that attended that we couldn’t have gone to a better place. Thank you.

Great food. There wasn't a kids menu but our six year old happily demolished the adult salmon. None surroundings though it was a bit cold outside that evening. The chowder was perhaps a bit gloopy and uninspired, but the fish and chips and the crufo were great.

Great food.I had mussels as a main. Good presentation and subtle flavours.My dessert was grilled Mango, with sorbet and lime foam.A simple dessert but it was ample.I felt satisfied, not uncomfortably stuffed. It was a nice light meal.
