Appliance Star

Took a month to inform us they did not have heaters we had ordered. This was despite calling twice (initially did not return call as promised and then assured of delivery in the coming week). Had very limited stock to offer as alternative. Refunded money promptly.

Pray that nothing goes wrong with your product. We purchased a wine fridge from the Tauranga branch that developed a fault within 6 mths. Appliance Star ignored my calls and emails but thankfully the product’s distributor was incredibly helpful and supplied a replacement. That unfortunately arrived with major damage and the distributor offered a full refund. They emailed Appliance Star asking they provide the refund as the retail store and confirmed they would be fully reimbursed. For the next 4 month we each called and emailed Appliance Star on an almost weekly basis. They refused to engage with either of us. When they did eventually respond it dragged on for several weeks - despite multiple reassurances from the distributor that they would be fully reimbursed. After significant effort, and a threat of further action, they finally provided the refund. The store is fine; lots of products and all reasonably priced - just prey that nothing goes wrong with your purchase as you will likely be in for a long battle to have it fixed or refunded. I would never buy from Appliance Star again.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. We bought $3000 worth of stuff from there and just coz the range we wanted was a powerpack we had to return the other rangehood we bought. And never pick the rangehood up from the warehouse when asked for refund the lady said it will take 2 weeks for refund. Now its being 4 weeks no reply from them when we call them they only say its i internal process. Called them lady said she will make sure she will get the done in 2 days. Still waiting no reply. We will take this to consumer counsel now. Then they have to pay. Please do not go there and stay away.

Not many items in stock but you can ask the staff to order for you. Delivery is fast. Prices are good. 5 stars I expect nothing more.

They sell branded products like trade depot but with better prices. They do good store specials.

Waited 3 weeks for food processor to arrive. I had to call to find out it was out of stock. Had no contact from the company to let me know. I am waiting for a refund of my payment.

One of your trucks(LUA865) parked in my parking bay at my house while working on the neighbour's house without consent and damage my shrub. Not happy.

Please refrain from buying from this store we bought rangehood oven cooktop and other stuff within a year something went wrong with the stove went to their store early February to enquire as it was still under warranty was given an email address to email them.2 weeks after emailing No reply nothing rang them and they make all sorts of excuses. Very bad customer services

Helpful staff with a wide range of home appliances and competitive pricing too. We got what we wanted and will be visiting again.
