New World Supermarket Rototuna

A great supermarket. Always busy, tidy and clean with friendly staff. Busy Lotto counter. A wonderful selection of cut flowers and bouquets available from their in store florist at reasonable prices. The place does feel quite small but I find all New World supermarkets do. The prices are higher than Countdown though.

Different shop for us, Gluten free section well stocked & nice range of cereals gf...We checked online and bought mostly to list..cheers NW

that young white lady staff was rude af. She Keep talking with other boys, we wait for her at least 20s. simply the worst customer service I've ever experienced. what a disgrace to the company

Custard donuts barely had custard. It was just fried bread. What a waste of 4 dollars. The labels of the muffin are mislabeled we always end up grabbing the wrong muffin. I don't recommend the bakery here

Our local New World and by far, the best. Always clean and we'll stocked. Great layout, friendly staff and very helpful. Generally always has the items I'm looking for and has a good range of items available.

I go there to pick up a few things every few days as its convenient - its not my main shopping supermarket. Overall its a lovely big supermarket, great deli, fresh produce, clean, good service etc but i have to say their meat section is appalling. Their meat is always at least 3-4 days old without it be reduced in price and the quality of some of it especially the steak and schnitzel is awful. One time they had a piece of rump steak that was disgusting, it was fatty and dry and the colour looked like it had already turned - was at least 5 days old. I gave it to the butcher manager and told him and he waited till i'd gone around the corner and put it back on the shelf (coz i checked). Was so bad. It happens all the time not just on that occasion with not selling fresh meat. Tonight again they have meat that's from the 7th and 8th - that's already nearly 4 days old, not reduced. Come on New World Butchery if you dont want sick customers or be reported you need to up your game!!

Very convenient location. Staff are very polite. New World is much better and cleaner compared to other supermarkets

Yes, Rototuna NW is great shop. CHECK THE PRICES ON YOUR DOCKET. I do have a gripe that one item I purchase almost weekly as customers are being ripped off. This particular item costs .50cents more at the check out than what is stated on the shelf. This is fraud!!! I noticed this on checking my docket about 3-4 mths ago. I have over and over queried this with the checkout supervisor and checkout operators. There has been no action taken, although I have requested it over and over again. Checkout staff refund me the .50cents but the issue is never resolved. Hence for every one of these popular items sold NW is ripping the customer off .50cents. This adds up over a day, week, month etc Ripping customers off, with a dishonest price difference. Two days ago I made another purchase of this item, it's a dog food product, so you will realise, it is a popular item and will be purchased regularly. Yes the prices still differ. I got the .50 cent difference, I find it extremely embarrassing to bring it up with the checkout operator, who has to call the Supervisor to approve the refund. Embarrassing with customers behind me in the queue. NW must be happy ripping customers off, this is one item that I have been struggling with all year, and there is NO change. How many other items are being overcharged like this going unnoticed. The other day was the last straw, supervisor was happy to approve the .50 cent refund but walked away when I tried to explain the problem. Each time I bring it up, a staff member checks the shelf price and confirms the difference in price but nothing gets done.Looks like they are satisfied at ripping off customers and I will be shopping with the opposition.
