Es una pequeña iglesia anglicana al costado de la ruta.Muy pintoresca desde afuera, aunque no pude ingresar ya que se encontraba cerrada.En el cartel tiene la dirección de una iglesia en el centro de la ciudad, que parece ser a la cual pertenece.

Spring time at St Mary’s Upokongaro: an absolute treat. Lovey flowers in bloom, a mature garden surrounding the church and the all the paint and gear you’d need to repaint close by, evidence the building is still well loved and looked after. Nestled in next to a little primary school, not far from Whanganui proper. It’s easy to imagine why you’d try to make a small settlement here next to the Whanganui river. It’s picturesque.
