Club Physical Birkenhead

Extremely poor service - Won't reckon to anyone - Used Gym for less than 3 months- paid $49 + weekly $20 . On top of that Charged a $29 club improvement annual fee - refused to refund even though nowhere in the contract says its non - refundable-- Don't know why these gyms overcharging this much weekly when you get a better service and quality gym around from $7 a week. Specialty of Birkenhead branch - Old machines , No air condition and a rude manager - very few locations and $20 /week --If you got stick to a contract then tough luck :(

The owners ability to manage conflict fairly is a joke. Very unprofessional- if you want to be bullied go to Club Physical.

The staff are very friendly and taking a good care ❤ of everybody. Its good during this covid time the staff has always priorities the well-being of their customers. I will always recommend CLUB PHYSICAL BIRKENHEAD to all my friends.

Club Physical in Birkenhead is such a great gym. Very clean, plus it has a sauna. I remember joining the gym back in 2019 and Vin (now the manager) is the one who signed me up. It’s really nice to go to a gym where staff are so kind, caring and welcoming. It makes a big difference. Thank you Vin and team for being so fabulous! Five stars from me! Also to add, during lockdowns I appreciated the fact that Club Physical was able to pause memberships unlike some other gyms around. It was very thoughtful. Thank you CP Birkenhead.

I have been going to club physical for over a year now, and I have been amazed by the friendly staff, easy to use/quantity of machines, and even how nice the other people are in the gym! The trainers are amazing at incentivisng you to become your better self and keeping you trying your hardest! 10/10

I had a very bad experience in Club Physical Birkenhead .I joined Club Physical Birkenhead June 2020 as Winners Plus One membership. According to my contract, a 10 days of notice period applies if I want to terminate or cancel the membership.I wrote to Club Physical Birkenhead 30 Nov 2021 to show my desire to discontinue my membership. I had thought this cancellation won't go into effect until 10 days later and I can finished all my rest 3 personal classed in these 10 days. However, I received from the club on 1 Dec 2021 that my contract was terminated. I was shocked that Club Physical Birkenhead did not follow the contract of 10 days notice period.I went to Club Physical Birkenhead 4th Dec 2021 and met Vin who said he was the manager and he refused to let me go inside and he said that the only way I can go into the gym is to have a new contract with Club Physical Birkenhead. I complained by writing email to the owner and said they should follow the contract to give a 10 days notice period but the result was the same.I am thinking to complain to a higher level.

I wanted to thank Vin for being so caring for the members. His smiles and warm greetings has made me feel great about the Club Physical.

Club physical managementMy partner was bullied by a group of girls here, rather than stop the bullying they ban her saying she was the common denominator. There was no listening to both sides and worth mentioning the “drama” was over a message sent on instagram completely outside of the gym which was sent after comments were made in gym to her which she did not engage with. It’s obviously easier to get rid of the person being bullied than to stop a group of girls who would make comments out loud about the other person’s appearance and laugh etc. when she walks by, club physical doesn’t care one bit as long as they don’t have to deal with drama.To add to this there is a similar stance on gangs which are allowed to take over the weights rooms with boom boxes and park their bikes right at the entrance because guess what that also belongs in the too hard basket for management. (There are a lot of gang members that train here and seems they are immune to any rules of the gym)If you want a gym that’s inclusive, bully free and supportive do not join here, management has absolutely no backbone they are only interested in making their job as easy as possible while banking your money. They are completely unprofessional with how they handle issues within the gym and there is absolutely no loyalty to their members you will get more professionalism and tools to deal with problems in gym from a 24hr fitness centre.
