Not generally keen on negative reviews but think it should be said. Bought a used bike from them and they were very dishonest about its condition. Struggling to get them to own up for any fault.Unfortunately the manufacturer can't help as this store wasn't a registered dealer.Take care

Wow.Every visit a different a problem.Snapped chain because the derailleur was put back on incorrectly after a tyre change.Told Your bike is ready to collect" - what they meant was it was ready to collect from the store on waiheke island ( I dropped it off in new market).Motor replaced under warranty. Told that my pedal cranks were bent - definitely not the case when I dropped it off.Now I have bike that looks like this because they lost me original pedal and they took the replacement off because I refused to pay for it.Oh and the store owner argued with me from a meter away with his mask off.Do Not Buy From Them."

These guys will go the extra mile for you. So impressed with their service. I purchased a cargo bike and wanted it delivered to Christchurch. It was a difficult task as there were a lot of accessories and the bike itself was huge. They did it in a quick and efficient manner and for a very reasonable price. They were very transparent through the whole process. If you are anywhere in NZ, I would highly recommend these guys for your bike purchases.

I usually don't post negative reviews, but this is worth reiterating the many negative reviews about this shop and to warn people about the owner of this shop - Chris, is very rude, has appalling customer service and very unprofessional. He gets irritated with phone calls and deems all customer calls a nuisance (his voicemail proves this). I only called him twice in a 2-week time span and in both occasions told me off, saying i'm preventing him for doing his job!" He wants you to pay but he will refuse committing a date to complete the job. He has all the excuses up his sleeve. His staff are ok

I snapped my bike chain, on a brand-new bike (from a different store), on the way home from work and had no money on me or means to get home. I walked my bike and broken chain into Bikes and Beyond and the bro fixed me up, no worries, and he showed my how to do it. I was able to get home.I came in the following week and paid for the part.Thanks guys!Love our Country.

Can I give a massive thanks to these guys for amazing service?!?They had two weeks of work booked when I came in, but when they realised how bad my brakes and other problems had got, they fixed my bike in a day.(I didn't buy the bike originally at their shop either).And apart from the big problems, they took care of a host of issues I didn't even know were there. Simply amazing work.Thanks Bikes and Barbers!!!!

I bought my first ebike in NewMarket , and all I can tell is that I had the best experience with all the staff and support I receive from them . They helped me with all my doubts and received a very personal attention . I’m extremely happy with my bike and the support I had from all the staff , including also the manager and owner. I have been back with other doubts of functionality, and they have always receive me very well . I will extremely recommend people to buy in this shop , :)

Best guy if you need to repair your bike. Super friendly and helpful. Went to fix my brake today,even though he was super super busy but he still managed to fix my brakes. Recommend 100%!!!!!!

I came in with a puncture just before they closed, the guy who was there was very helpful, did it on the spot. He also suggested a service that my bike drastically needs. He went above and beyond (even stayed after hours to show me e-bikes and answer my questions) very knowledgeable guy. Will be back to get my bike serviced soon.
