Ben Gong Queen’s Tea

I won't hesitate to give my 5 stars for this brand. My most favorite one is Brown sugar milk foam brulée milk as well as it made me fell in love at first time by the thick layer of milk foam. I am looking forward to coming back Christchurch some days for stopping by this store and grab a drink again.

I would usually give them a 5 star review . I am a regular customer that buys bubble tea a lot . I went to the night market and bought my customer Ben Gong Loyalty card with me thinking I could get 3 stamps for 3 drinks . ( you get 1 stamp for each drink you purchase ) They said they could not stamp it. I just been to their Store today to ask for stamps and provided proof from yesterday afternoon but the friendly young lady said the manager Told her I had to buy the tea face to face in store to get the stamps even though I bought them face to face at the night market . I feel like that wasn’t fair because there is no difference in buying in store and buying at the night market at Hornby mall . That was a very disappointing experience for me .

Probably one of the best bubble tea shops in town, they changed their name from The Alley which might be because of copyright infringement. It was the alley that caught my attention in the first place because its an international brand name serving good brown sugar milk tea. And disappointed was I not! Even after changing names, they still serve really good brown sugar milk tea. Have been here a couple of times and tried different drinks, and all were good.

It was quiet when I visited and I didnt have long to wait. Peach tea with cheese foam tasted nice, not too sweet and the cheese foam reminds me of cheesecake. Their Bubble balls remind me almost of licorice much different then other bubble tea. It was a nice treat and I would definitely like to try more on their menu. They have a loyalty program and you can get stamp cards. I noticed several specials and reusable cups you could buy.

This is the best milk tea ever! Yes! Better than the ones here in Christchurch. Even better than the ones we have in the Philippines. The pearls that they make are amazing. Worth the wait and the price. Lovely staff.

They have the best pearls in town. We go to various bubble tea places in town and this has by far the best products. Awesome bubble teas.

Ordered a No9 milk tea and brown sugar cheese foam brulee milk. The No9 milk tea is lovely with fragrant tea flavour and good textured pearls. Brûlée cheese foam for the other drink was deliciously caramelised and creamy. Loved it but I would prefer if it could have more brown sugar flavour in the milk.

Really good milk tea. Taste and sweetness are just nice to our preference at half sugar. bubbles were chewy and energetic. Staff was ok.

The matcha brown sugar bubble tea is my absolute favourite. They also tend to do small cute events like tiny hat giveaways and the recent raffle event, so worth checking their social media to see if anything interesting is going on as a bonus to the great boba!

Great pearls and options. I got the membership too, I save a lot during promo periods. However, I am giving 3 star for customer service. I always get my order take away, they never gave me a take away paperbag or even handle for my drinks (ordering for 2). I always have to ask one to have one, eventhough others gets one when they leave, I dont know if the staff chooses people they will give, or they really never wanting to ask. The place should maintain cleanliness too. Other than that everything is 5 star. The matcha and hawaiian drinks are still my favorite, pearls are delicious.
